Warts take time to go away on their own, but you could speed up the process by using over the counter product like salicylic acid. Good luck to you!
Jody,if you are in UK do go see your GP who will assess this properly and prescribe the proper treatment. Have you any idea how you got this wart? Have you been in sexual contact with anyone who has warts? Warts on the lips need careful treatment due to the sensitive area and many of the OTC treatments are too harsh and cause soreness and burning.
If you are in US I think there is a natural remedy on Amazon called Terrasil. You can also try the old fashioned remedy of rubbing the wart with the inside of a banana skin.
