Had it for one week, seems to get relief when I crack my neck.
I went to the DR but they said it was most likely a tension headache and didnt wanna do another CT scan because I had one in April which was clear.
Anyone else get long lasting headaches?? Help!
I get those all the time. Very often, dull headaches are from stress and tension. The muscles around the neck and shoulders can cause tension headaches when they are tight. Stress and anxiety can make muscles tight and this tightness goes up your neck causing headaches . My neck also cracks and gives me some relief. The doctors don't want you having another CT scan because they give off some radiation. You don't want to be having a lot of those. If your CT scan in April was normal then you are fine! You need to do something to relieve the tension headaches which includes relaxing yourself as much as you can. There are some stretches you can do for your neck that help avoid the headaches. Exercise helps reduce headaches as well as some mindful meditation's.
Sometimes people have poor posture when they're sitting or standing which can lead to headaches. The shoulders should be down and back , and you're neck should be back not forward or down and your chin should be tucked in.
Hi. Get them a lot. Tension headaches. Also back and Neck always ache , even jaw , hold myself really uptight , catch myself doing it and try to relax shoulders etc, relaxation as in other post will help, my headaches can last for days, bit like migraine, mention to gp but dounds like tension headaches ❤️
