Hi, I am a 22 year old female who's suffered from indigestion for about a month. A little over a month ago, I've experienced extreme indigestion and was unable to eat, causing an 8 pound weight loss. I've visited my doctor since then, who prescribed me with omeprazole. i've also seen a gastro who believed there weren't any big issues. I do have an endoscopy scheduled soon, however. The indigestion has cleared up mostly since then and I've been able to eat, but once every few days or so, I experience a dull pain on my belly button (mostly on the left side) and a lot of bloating/gas etc... It doesn't seem to be affecting my digestion though.
It's also worth noting that I've discovered a very hard bony lump under my left ribcage. There isn't any pain around the lump. I've been sent to get an abdominal ultrasound by my doctor and was told by the technician that the lump would probably not be able to be diagnosed with the exam. The ultrasound came back normal. I haven't gotten confirmation on what that lump was, and I plan on speaking with my doctor soon regarding this.
Did anyone experience this? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
