Just wanted to let you all know, I am currently withdrawing from duloxteins, and after some advice from someone who had already done it, I followed their advice and have now halved my dose in a few weeks. I would suffer from terrible dizziness and brain zaps if I was even a few hours late taking my 60mg dose!! I started by day one, opening the capsule and taking out around 10-15 of the little balls, I did this for a week, then I doubled the amount I toved the following week! I'm pleased to say, so far no side effects at all, I actually feel very good!! I would never encourage anyone to come off them without help or advice from a doctor, and some people may need them for their whole lives, there is no shame in that. Just wanted to let you know their is light at the end if the tunnel, if you are trying to give them up, then do it very slowly xx
Good to hear -- what was your experience on them? and how long did you take them for?
I have been on duloxetine30mg for 6weeks and because of side effects want to withdraw, my Dr has advised taking one every other day for a week and then one every 2days for a week and then stop, do you think this is too quick?
i would love to receive any advice, bit scared of the withdrawal effects

I used to take 90mgs and now I'm currently down to 60 but I actually want to stop eventually but right now I'm going down to 60mg one day...30 another...for a month as advised by the doctor! but to be honest I don't think my depression has gone but these meds make me angry a lot - I have taken them now for over 6 months but feel depression is still lurking! how long have you been taking it cherie9? and how long have you been off it?
Hello. No not really but if you have problems you can always take it per doctor, but its a wonderful med. But brutal coming off. Avoid all stressors.
