DVT without a lot of pain and swelling

Anyone here had a DVT in a leg vein without the classic symptoms like swelling, redness and a lot of pain?  From what I've been reading online you can have DVT with minor symptoms.  Went to my doctor and he says you have to have a lot of pain and swelling.  I told him he was wrong and I wanted an ultrasound done.

I did have the ultrasound done on my leg.  It showed no DVT clot or superficial clot.
