DWP Supersedes doctor's decision. I can't get it through to him. Am desperate to be heard.

The DWP will not accept what are now called "fit notes" for pre existing conditions. However my GP will not accept the fact that his decision has been superseded.

My condition has deteriorated drastically over the last year. In the last three months I have at times become disassociated from reality. I'm constantly terrified.

In a single day my mood can go from suicidal to euphoric to paranoid, hysterical with laughter. To panic to hallucinations, visual, aural, taste and smell.

Yet he keeps issuing sick notes for chronic depression. It's not like any depression I've ever experienced before.

He is also not listening to the fact that I currently have a kidney infection. And a jaw infection.

People struggling with their mental health can still get all the usual illnesses. Left untreated they will be far worse. Both have a negative.impact on each other.

I need to be treated as a whole person. I don't. make these ridiculous rules it's beaurocracy.

It is making me so ill I've never felt so sick and vulnerable in my whole life.

How can I get heard by my doctor.

Have u asked for a 2nd opinion or 3rd.It took me 5 DOCTORS to get off this devil drug. Day 9 I am back to work I am 75 % to feeling better I can eat I dropped my weight from 160 down to 109. Last friday i gained 3 pounds I am looking like i'm anerexic. I feel better today and have a doctor that will listen to me

I understand your pain well. I suffer with chronic sinusits and high anxiety and it's safe to say I feel dreadful daily.

I keep getting reccouring infections because of it (awaiting surgery now), and someitmes it can go months untreated to a point where I get that run down I have to go the walk in to get antibiotics.

One thing I have started to do is as soon as I walk in, tell my doctor it's not anxiety related. Ignore the anxiety side of things and look at this as a seperate issue. After about 8 wasted appoitments, I finally got through to one, who referred me to the right place. Normally I just keep getting SSRI's chucked at me.

You need to be persist with doctors sadly. I find it's anything to get you out the door fast as they are under pressure to treat so many people
