hello, i am hoping one of you guys can help or some advice on what doctor to see... i am 26 years old with two children, when i was 14 i had me first period and it lasted 2 weeks, i lost so much blood that i was hospitalized and had to get a blood transfusion the doctor told me if i had waited any longer id be dead ... my cycle last for about 2 weeks most of the time... it is very heavy and clots no pain come with it... also it will skip months at a time 2-3 sometimes more i have been on birth control for as long as i can remember and every time i get sick and have to go to the hospital there suggestions are the pills to stop the bleeding now the pills no longer work.... another doctor recently suggested Endometrial ablation (burning of the uterus) ... they have tested me for everything they can think of and still have no answer as to why this is happening ... at this point i am just frustrated please help if you can...
