Ear Barotrauma

Hello, I believe I have suffered severe atmospheric ear barotrauma in my inner ear that has caused me to feel a variety of symptoms. I developed a cold before the flight which I believe the descent from two short flights caused a lot of pain. When I arrived back from my trip, my doctor believes that the fluid has entered my inner ear that is causing these sensations and that it will get better over time. However, I don't seem to believe into this matter. Since I arrived back, I started to experience the following: (1) Lightheadedness (2) Motion Sickness (when I drive I feel I will fall but won't - just odd sensations I have never felt before) (3) Nausea (4) Urge to Vomit (5) General feeling of being sick and fatigue (6) Balance issues (when I stand I tend to move front and back) - I feel vibration in my legs when I stand and that it trembles a little to keep still (7) Mild trembling in my fingers/hands and legs start to shake if I slowly uplift my heel I took out my blood and did a CT scan of my ears and everything turned out to be fine. I'm so scared that this is permanent damage as I feel it is. I'm hoping someone can provide me answers to whether this can go away or that I will most likely live with this. Thanks, Ghost
