I got sick visiting my grandchildren one sneezed in my face three days later I am congested and all the cold symptoms. It just went down hill from there not getting better I went to urgent care with horrible plug ears they put me on zpac five days later I am still bad the doc said he could not see my ear drum too much pus zi am on 500 mg keflex four times a day and ear drops with cortisone and antibotic. Thee days still the same how long does it take for keflex to kick in and is there anything else that could be going on or has anyone been in my shoes?? praying so hard
i have some kind of sinus thing going on for weeks dry stuffiness ears feel clogged and very off balance can you try a humidifier as im going to get one and use to see if it helps
I tried humidifier it did not help. do you have ear infection go to doc and find out if you dont know mine is severe. you might need antibiotics
Hi , it takes antibiotics 3 to 4 days to really start clearing an infection . I would say give it a few more days meanwhile you can also drink hot tea for congestion . I will pray with you
Thank you I my doctor he thinks my ear drum is perforated ruptured. Took me off antibiotic ear drops said they could cause more problems with bone in middle ear. My hearing is getting worse. He did keep me on the keflex. They are trying to get me into ENT asap. just want this to end three weeks of fluid and pain is ridiculous.
