Two weeks ago received unprotected oral sex and felt discomfort a few days later. Took tests for gonorrhea, chlamydia, hep, and trich and took preemptive shot and pills.
Didn't seem to work so I started putting hydrocortizone and clotrimazole on it, thinking the discomfort I was feeling might ne yeast related. It seemed to help for a few days but then felt like maybe it wasn't. Not really worsening, just staying the same as before.
Well, I noticed what appeared to be a little spot of inflammation on the underside of my penis today and went to a doctor again.
Another urine sample, which he said came back clean, and when he saw my penis, ordered a swab test and blood test for HSV. He seemed fairly confident that it is Herpes though it is very different from what you see on a google image search. But they tend to offer up images of gnarly breakouts and not mild symptoms. Time will tell if that's what it is, I guess, but I tend to think I should use this time getting to a better place of acceptance and what to do next.
FWIW, married (open), no sexual activity w anyone after incident in question fourteen days ago. Plenty of research to do re: trying to keep folks safe and how to still be a sexual human being in the world.
