Early morning hunger and vomiting. Could this be acid related? Please help.

I am in my mid-20s and have had issues with nausea and vomiting for years. It is at its worst at night. If I do not eat a snack or a large enough one right before bed, I wake up between 4:30-6am feeling very nauseous. If I stand up when i get like this, i am almost always sick. If i eat a snack, it tends to improve after 20-30 minutes and i can go back to sleep. Otherwise i vomit about 1-3 times and it tends to be very strong acid that leaves me gasping for air for several minutes and sometimes bile. After being sick a few times, I feel better and can go back to sleep. When i get hungry in the day time, i start to feel shaky, lightheaded, burp a lot, feel nauseous and i have to sit down and eat a snack immediately. If i dont do so, the nausea gets worse and worse until the point i start heaving or vomit. I have no problems with heartburn and no foods trigger this. It is purely the state of hunger. However once i get like this there are certain foods i cannot bear the thought of. Does this sound like acid? Please help if you have any idea what this could be. I need answers. I have had so many blood tests and they always come back fine. Of possible relevance: I frequently get diarrhoea/ loose stool, containing lots of gas.

Hi, yes your symptoms sound like they could be acid related although they seem a bit extreme to be just acid. Could be ulcers or bad gastritis. Have you been tested for H pylori? What does your doctor say?
