I'm 55 in Dec 2017 and have lived with a brain tumour since age of 34. I've had a biopsy, 6 weeks of radiotherapy, (so i cant have any more), I also had an operation in 2015 Feb to try to remove ALL of the tumour but only managed PARTIAL and after I came out I received a 6 week bout of chemotherapy.
I have been going since they first found it ( through me having my first fit ) for an MRI every 3mnths ( the best I got to, was 6 months but that was only a short while) I have not been to work since February 2015 and now they have called me in (on July 12th) to talk about early retirement because I still struggling with my balance and I cant walk very far besides not being able to write with my right hand as my tumour was in my motor region. ( I WAS right handed).
Now for the question, I've received PIP and EESA and DISABALED BADGE for the car without applying for it. ( I think macmillan nurse did all that because I have a grade 3 tumour.
What I really like to know is now that I am on no work at all what's the next step for me e.g letting EESA know, I know it doesn't affect PIP.
