Had a slow external pile pop up and after initial panic decided to take action. As it was only a few days old I began to use Uniroid-HC Ointment on the area and then made an appointment to the GP who confirmed this as an external early pile and prescribed Uniroid-HC Suppositories which I began to use that day. I also ordered Anusol HC cream which took a few days to arrive and was put to use. This cream has lots of helpful ingredients to soothe and help shrink piles. Also warm baths were taken on one evening the pile burst and enough blood came out to float a small battleship. Persisted with the treatment suppository/cream and after the next day the swelling and pain died down and the pile is almost non existent. So if you feel tingling and a hard painful lump appear just outside the anal canal I would suggest that you give my remedy a go, it might work or it might not. Luckily it is working for me as I have noticed a HUGE improvement. The area is almost back to normality and I have to see my GP for a follow up in a week. The GP told me that if this did not improve then surgery awaited me, which I didn’t really want but would ask for an injection instead.
