Hi I’ve been on sertraline 100mgs for a year and a half I felt side effects were too much loss of sex drive, exhausted and problems with vision without a doubt helped when I was really depressed. I dropped to 50 mgs with some insomnia and flu like symptoms I then came across a service in holland that provides a pack which allows me to reduce over 28 days so provides a blister pack with sertraline 48 mgs/ 46 mgs etc it is such a brilliant idea it unfortunately costs 77 euros if anyone is interested the info is at www.taperingstrip.org gp needs to agree to it I’ve reduced to 40 mgs and will hopefully be off sertraline by end of month good luck to everyone it’s a hell of s journey ❤️
Can't your GP prescribe the liquid form for you to taper? Would imagine that would be cheaper.
It would be great if they did but unfortunately they won’t prescribe liquid because of cost 😠so you’re left with chipping bits of tablets off as you reduce or dropping from fairly big doses 👍
