Hi everyone, well thankfully everything o.k on my ECG and now have to wait until Thursday for chest X-ray and blood results! I do feel I've turned a corner though, as last night I was really bad with a fever which lasted for about 3hours. I couldn't get myself warm even though I was wrapped in a duvet and dressing gown. Breathing is much better today, coughing more and loosening up and I even feel as if I'm actually alive!
I am pretty convinced this is pneumonia, I don't ever remember feeling this bad since I had viral pneumonia 15years ago, that took me 5 months to get over, didn't help when my then GP gave me 3or4 lots of antibiotics which of course didn't touch it, didn't find out until I saw a specialist weeks later! I'll swear it was all those antibiotics that damaged my hearing!
Thank you all so much for your support and comments. Lodger, I did ask about the aorta and pulmonary coverage on the ECG and she said it did, but when I mentioned pmr/gca she said she hadn't a clue and that I probably knew more about that than she does! Will keep in touch.

Hopefully things go well on Thursday. Maybe your own doctor will be able to answer the questions about your ECG that the technician couldn't.
Many people here are getting pneumonia vaccines. Maybe you coyld talk to your doctor about having it if you are susceptible to pneumonia.

Thanks Pat, yes I've a way to go yet but can definately see the light at the end of the tunnel! Then it's back to coping with pmr and trying to build myself up a bit. My poor hubby isn't used to all this stress I'm putting him under! I'm so thankful I've got him though, he's done a really good job.
Hi mrs Mac, mmmm now you have me wondering, I did have my jab, last October had forgotten about that. Is it the same as flu jabs though where they only work on certain strains? Have to wait for Thursday for the real answer! Where in Canada are you? My daughter and family are in Calgary.
