Effects of Sertraline

I have be on sertraline for 2 years now and have been having side effects without even noticing. i know this sounds crazy but let me explain. It's all come to light since I went on a hen do to Palma. It was the first time I had been away from my boyfriend for more than a couple of days. Whilst over there I realised that I didn't miss my boyfriend at all and didn't even feel like contacting him. I've felt numb for quite a while but this really made me realise something was very wrong. Even worse happened and I kissed another man. Is this normal behaviour for people on sertraline or is there something wrong with me? Because of this me and my boyfriend have now broken up as he feels he can't trust me but it's totally out of character for me. I've also been suffering with short term memory loss and forget things people have said to me. I need help as I know deep down me and my boyfriend are made for each other but I can't help but think that sertraline has changed me completely.

If you are so sure it's the medicine, stop taking it and see if the other side isn't damaged. Certainly that falls into the category of "not suitable"
