I have been suffering with shortness of breathing for quite a while now. I have visited the doctor and he had done all the necessary tests like lung capacity and infection test. I was diagnosed with increased eusinophil cells and was recommended to take Hetrazan named tablets for 21 days. I took the medicine and was relieved for a while, but the problem has started again. The problem is that I sometimes feel the need to take breath with effort and also experience shortness of breath. My doctor also said that I have some type of anxiety disorder and gave a medicine named Duzes-20. I am 20 year old male from India.
I want to know that what I could possibly be? Anxiety disorders or some other problem?
I would also like to know whether you also suffers or has suffered with condition like mine.
Please reply.
Shortness of breath is very common in anxiety.. Maybe you're scared of the cell issue somewhere in your mind?? I'm not familiar at all with that issue, is it something permanent or is there a chance you need to go back on the pills to get it gone?? I would make an appt to have it checked again if its the same symptoms just to be on the safe side.. But like I said, both shortness of breath and feeling like its taking effort to breathe is classic anxiety/panic attack signs.
Shortness of breath is a common symptom of anxiety and constantly worrying about your health does make it worse unfortunately so I feel that is why your problem got worse or won't leave. anxiety can manifest into so many symptoms.. If you believe you have liver issues.. Your liver area can create pain due to anxiety. Same goes for anything else.. It is horrible. I would try the meds he reccomended for anxiety and give it 4-8 weeks and see if it improves.
I do get this with anxiety and stress does make anxiety worse

Like what you go through?
It usually starts with pins and needles all over my body stomach pain then pressure on my chest then difficulty breathing.
Learning to breath from your belly helps

I have shortness of breath everyday. It gets worse when I concentrate on my breathing
Then I convince myself I have lung issue which makes it worse. Then I have a panic attack. Vicious circle for me.
