Tengo 63 años y soy activo. Hace aproximadamente cuatro meses tengo un codo muy doloroso en el hueso interno, dejé de jugar pádel y golf. Fui al médico después de unos meses usando una banda para el codo y me diagnosticó codo de golfista y me envió a fisioterapia que no me está ayudando. Todavía me duele, me despierto varias veces por la noche. Probé una crema antiinflamatoria, calor, frío pero nada parece ayudar. Ahora tengo dificultad para sostener incluso un plato con esa mano
Hi I have tennis elbow & golfers elbow in right arm. Have tried everything including steroid injections. After 2 years I finally had surgery in January. Still tender so waiting to see if worked.
¿Qué tipo de cirugía se realizó? Estoy haciendo fisioterapia, pero no he tenido alivio alguno y estoy pensando en pedirle a mi médico inyecciones de cortisona. ¿Alguien tiene alguna sugerencia sobre otras opciones de tratamiento? Espero poder jugar al golf este verano.
I feel your pain! I also have it. His technical term was cubital tunnel syndrome. I have all of the same symptoms and will be having surgery Nov 14 to correct it. I went through several rounds of cortisone injections with no luck. Sleeping is so hard when it hurts so bad at night and holding the plate, YIKES!!! I wish you the best.

I wondered if your doctor had ever suggested a bone scan?
I have had very bad elbow pain for a few months now and my doctor first ordered an Xray (which showed nothing abnormal) but he did feel cyst-like material in my arm so sent me for a bone scan. I don't really know why not a catscan or an MRI but I went for the scan just yesterday.
