Hi. I am looking for some advice. I have been suffering with IBS-D since Sept and i went to see a Kinesiotheripst in Jan. i had heard good reports from friends how she had managed to tell then what foods were causing them problems etc. so i thought id give it a go. I was told that it was electronics/radiation and that it had fried my stomach. I was given tablets labled 'x-rayb200' and slippery elm. I took both and for the whole of Jan and half way through feb i was completely fine but now i have symptoms again. Has anyone ever heard of this before? I dont know if it is a true? I dont want to carry on takin tablets when i dont know what they are but scared incase it is electronics and it continues to make me worse.
Hello Diane
I wouldn't take any tablets unless I took it to the pharmacist and ask him or her what is in the tablet. For starters, I am very familar with slippery elm, and it is a safe herb that you can look up under google. Just google "What is slippery elm" and it will give you all the details. As far as x-ray 200, that sounds a little weird to me, so again, I would take that pill to the pharmacist and ask them what the x-ray 200 is.
Are they trying to tell you , you fried your stomach by getting some xrays. That again sounds a little off to me. How many xrays have you had on your stomach? The other person who watched W5 seems to have a good suggestion. It sounds more like you have some sort of bacteria that needs antibiotics. Thats probably why the slippery elm helped you as it is a good herb.
Hope you take the pill to the pharmacist and have it explained to you. Good luck with this.

Hi Lynn
I was told that she tested me for all foods but nothing was comin up so she tested me for 'other' and electrics came up. By this she means microwaves, phonemasts, wifi and all other electrical things. I havent had any xrays before. The tablets havent got information of what they contain so not sure a pharmacist would be able to tell me what they are.
A pharmacist is the one who would have to know what this type of pill is unless the person who gave you the pill is making up their own formula. Where would they get this pill and it would have to be approved before anyone could take it? Therefore, I would still take it to the pharmacist and have them have it checked out for the ingredients or at least let you know if this pill has been approved. I would never recommend any medication or pills to anyone without knowing the entire content and the possible side affects. Anytime someone is prescibed something they should be totally aware of what they are taking and the side affects that are involved with taking any kind of medication.

Hi. Thanks i will go to the pharmacy and see what they say. The lady i saw her mother owns a herb company and they make them. I did think it was strange but always a worry in back of my head that if i dont take t its going to fry my stomach, silly i know!
I don't think your stomach is going to be fried and again, I think I would pay attention to what that lady said who saw a similar case on W5 and it turned out to be a bacterial infection.
Find out what you can about the pill and you may even ask the herbal lady who gave it to you what the ingredients are. Inform her it is your right to know exactly what you are taking in case you have other medications that could interact with that herbal pill. Just because it is herbal does not mean it is competely natural or safe. Even herbs have side affects, so do your homework and find out what you are taking or don't need to take at all.
Lynn
Hi. Sorry can you tell me where to find the info from the other lady on w5? Thank u
She replied on this site to you. I saw it on the there. Scroll back and look for all your replies that you got. There was a lady that said she watched W5 and saw a similar case to yours and it was a bacterial infection that needed antibiotics. Go back and look at your replies.

ok thanks, its not appearing so may have been deleted. thanks tho.
I can't find it either so it must of been deleted for some reason. All it said was there was a man who had the same symptoms as you did and the same description of the electronics etc and he was diagnosed to have a bacterial infection and just needed antibiotics and all was well after that.
I think you should relax and try to continue on the right track of eating right and keep your digestive system going good with the foods you can tolerate etc. Worrying and stress builds up and will cause you to have stomach problems again. Mind and body work together and if your mind is worried, you digestive system will follow. It all works together to stay in sinc and allow a happier digestive system. You can get slippery elm on its own at any health food store and apparently it is used for IBS so maybe, you need to just have a small dosage of that with your diet. Check it out at the health food store.
