A couple of months ago I was having bowel trouble,, seemed very constipated and when it did come, it was all in very tiny bits,... This went on for some time, it was a case of me taking a lot of laxatives, then getting diarehair, then being costipated.... One day a few weeks ago while showering I felt some thing coming from my bottom,,, I already have a pessary for the same thought of thing happening to my vagina, I pushed it back a bit and it does feel better. I am a quite healthy 87 year old.
What is it, and what should I do... Elizabeth.

I am experiencing the same thing for a long while too, but not to the extend to what you said happen to you. I suggest you go and see your doctor as soon as you can,because that could be a prolaspe of your rectum, through you having to take the laxatives for your constipation. I hope everything goes well for you.
Yes, I am sure you are right..... BUT.... see your doctor as soon as you can.... In about two weeks, the 19th, I can can ring up and hope to get an appointment, but as all the days appointments are booked before I get through......... Maybe I will get lucky.. Thank you for your interest.

If you cannot get an appointment at your doctors, you may have to go too an A&E Department at your local hospital. Please do not wait around for the doctors as you might develope an infection in there, and that would be very serious indeed, I may think. I hope this helps you.

I do appreciate and thank you for your concern, I live in a small village by the sea, It is very quiet in the winter, but at this time of year it is quite mad. Loads of holiday makers, with their various ills and accidents fill doctors and the hospital A and E.. I think I may have a better chance waiting for the 19th. Will let you know how I get on..
