Emergency Appt to see Gp

Hi all

Almost 5 weeks post op. LTHR scar is red and swollen and sore to touch

have appt to see gp at 11,really worried 😞

Just as well to have a check up . Hopefully it will be fine or a case of wonderful antibiotics .

Hope its nothing too serious and that your GP will prescribe you antibiotics to clear it up. Best wishes

have infections now on antibiotics

Hi

gp told me if scar gets redder whilst on antibiotics i must return to see her or at the end of taking antibiotics if scar still the same i must return.

Hi Denise:

I hope you're on the road to reoery! Did your G.P. find ou had Cellulitis? Because , I had the same complaint and I was put on an I.V. drip with a PICC (periferraly Inserted central catheter) which is attached to an I.V. with a bag of heavy antibiotics.
