Hey, since being diagnosed (around 5 weeks ago) I have felt very easily aggregated. Things annoy me very easily and it's making me seem horrible as I am not tolerant of anything. I get upset very easily too. Has anyone else noticed this change? Or know ways to feel more relaxed and upbeat?
Hello
I think it's just an emotional phase you need to go through in order to get better..
I was prescribed anti anxiety/depression tablets before I was diagnosed and stayed on them for a month after.
My uc isn't getting any better but im now being prescribed abother new medication
I hope you feel better soon xx
Hi....it can take a period of mental adjustment . Yoga can good for relaxation and also for uc. You haven't said how symtomatic u r but if ur bloods are low or u r suffering a lot of pain this can also be a major contributor to this also. Have u spoke to ur gp or consultant regarding this ? MJ
I'm sure it's not just down to your UC. Being unwell can be very frustrating especially if you have generally been used to being well. I know at times I feel as tho I'm just a UC sufferer and nothing else and that if I tell people they will view me as someone who is 'not well' and less pleasant to be with. Just remember, don't let the illness take over. Try and get a kick out of 'kicking' it! Only way I cope!
Hi hun bear with it flower I too was the same I pray remission will come soon to you too mine is day 6 after 4 months of bad bleeding for the first time x
Yes....its same with me.
I get a flare up after i have an emotional imbalance or a debate or a feeling of guilt
I get angry very fast on small issues and my rectum starts feeling the heat.
This has happened to me always, even if i have a bad dream my bowel movement changes to D.
My emotions are the triggers of UC.
Relaxation and meditation is the key to remmision.
Presenly Im not taking any medication.
Presently im taking L glutamine 2gms three times a day along with VSL#3 daily for my UC, it helps but the emotional factor keeps UC active,
If there is any other option please advise.
