The booklet is no longer available through the Oesophageal Patients Association website, but you can still download it by googling A Patient’s Guide to Achalasia from Free Ebooks.
The London Achalasia Meet Up group (again, one to google) can be very helpful.
As for medical advice the main surgical centres for Upper Gastro Intestinal problems are the best place to go. If you let me know where you are based, or where you have been I will try and help.

Thank you Alan, it is an indepth article that i need that explaines what end stage achalasia patients have to endure. My oesophagetomy has been put on the back burner sadly as, my abdominal distension was bladder cancer for which i am being treated. Due to the change in circumstances my PIP award was cancelled in late May so, im as mad as mad can be and, intend on hitting this tribunal with everthing ive got. I also have representation.
