i am currently waiting on bloods that should give me a diagnosis for hypothyroidisim, any suggestions in the meantime if there is anything that will help with the soul destroying fatigue and tiredness?
Are you gaining weight also? My brain was also foggy. This part is the most difficult. Waiting for the blood work so you can start the medication. The medication is the only thing I found that helped. Unfortunately the medication takes 3 months to kick in and then it took my doctor some time to get the right dosage. Though, I started feeling better after about 2 months of taking synthroid. Then we had to tweak the dosage to get it just right. Be patient, but start taking the meds as soon as possible!! I had my thyroid completely removed in 2006 and after the medication tweaking, I feel about 90% of normal now. Lots of good hope and optimism, you will feel better!! Good Luck!!

im in same position-testing tomorrow-so will have to wait for results. is your thyroid swollen?
