For some time now have been feeling like I constantly want to clear my throat and feel like something is stuck in my throat

Hi upite08,

I had a feeling like I had a lump in my throat which turned out to be part and parcel of gastro oesophageal reflux disease.

Maybe look into this as a possible cause?

Yes, me too. I've been told it's 'globus sensation', caused by the acid burning the larynx from acid reflux. I was told by my ENT that I had LPR (silent reflux) which started after a bout of antibiotics that gave me such bad heartburn. That was 3 months ago and my other LPR symptoms (heartburn, cough, hoarseness) have subsided but the globus sensation remains. I hope it will eventually resolve, it's very unpleasant.
