ERCP and gallbladder removal

Looking for some reassurance about my upcoming ERCP and gallbladder removal. I’m awful when it comes to these things and always thinking of all the things that could go wrong. I’m already paranoid that the stone stuck in my bile duct will become infected before the procedure and am stressed about the possible complications. Stupidly I read an article about air embolisms occurring during ERCP procedures so now I’m petrified of that as well. Anybody got any experiences to share of either of these procedures.

I’m glad you asked. I wish people would ask before reading articles. They seem to scare people. I had both procedures done. Gallbladder surgery is a breeze today. Hardly no complications while in surgery. As for ERCP. It is another surgery though. You will need a couple of weeks in hospital to treat pain. And antibiotics for recovery. I would love to elaborate more but I won’t. You will be in the best hands during both surgeries. After everything you will have a better life I guarantee. I know I experienced them both. Any other questions fell few to ask.
