Has anyone suffered from erectile disfunction due to this drug. I am 63 and my sex life has been destroyed since taking this drug. Not taken it now for a month and BP is normal. How long will it take to get back to normal.

I've used Amlodipine for quite a while and have to report no problems in the underpants department. Maybe your problem is due to some other cause?

I've been on Amlodipine 5mg for about 5 months. In the last couple of months I've had increasing ED problems - erection not as firm as before Amlodipine and ejaculation happens sooner.
I'm 60, with a 45 year old partner. She is very understanding and caring, but the problem has wrecked my confidence in bed. I've also got depressed and at times have felt suicidal - to the extent of visiting suicide websites.
Similar to others messages, my GP is not interested in my concerns and disagrees when I ask to consider coming off the tablets - even though my BP is stable at 140/90.
