I have recently has a a PIP assessment and the report was full of lies and contradictions .
I'm due an ESA assessment soon are the assessors just as bad when doing the ESA or is it the same ?
It's pretty much the same sort of thing except for ESA you're assessed on what work you CAN do and not what you CAN'T do. So many people fail to understand ESA and the descriptors. There's plenty of info on the internet of what ESA is all about, i'd advice doing some research because having some understanding before the assessment will help a lot! Good luck.
Thanks for the reply , yes I understand about the ESA and PIP are different benefits and I understand criterias . What I was asking is do ESA use use the same lying contradicting assessors that they use for PIP ?
Oh i see, you didn't make yourself clear about that. It depends where in the country you are and who is in your area for assessments. ATOS no longer to ESA assessments only PIP and capita do both i believe. So 50/50 chance i guess. A quick google search of your area and assessments will tell you your answer.

Just thinking about your assessment. As you have an appointment soon doesn't it tell you on your letter who's doing the assessment? as it should clearly state this on the front.
