i am getting esa for the last seven months for abad back i still have it now my docter has refused to give me any more sick notes for my back problem but he is given me sick notes for my deppesion i have sufford this problem for years but this is the first time my docter has given me sick notes which is for amonth but said he will give me more sick notes i have to go to a esa medical this thurs day  for my back problems also i have asocial worker which has given me a bath lift and higher toilet seat can i still get esa for deppesion im takeing medication for this also i had aheart operation three years ago which has left me with some bad breathing propblems im all confused at the moment beacouse my docter does not lister to me and im am so deppreessed about all this i dont no where to turn i no i cant still bend my back and i cant evern do up my own shoe lases or cut my toe nails becouse of my back pain please can you help me to talk to my docter becouse he said if i keep asking to eary for sick notes here want have as a paitent any more so i find it hard talking to my docter about both of my prblems

I would suggest you go to see another GP in the practice for a second opinion. As far as the ESA medical goes just tell them the truth and tell them how you are on the worst days.

Sorry to hear of your hardship! I would firstly go and see another doctor get their opinion then at least you know its more than one person who has checked you out and its not a biased judgement, then if its depression which can give physuical symptoms at least anti-depressants will help those issues in most case anyway. I wish you th best in finding the key to your struggle my friend!
