I've had ETD for 3 months now. I believe it's was from me smoking marijuana everyday for 2 yrs. I did quit 3 months ago and I still have ETD. It's not as bad as the first 2 months but I still have the tinnitus and plugged up ears. Will I get better?
Yeah it will avoid all the things which can aggravate etd it will take a long time for the tinnitus to go away don't loose hope even I have the same thing I still have hopes did u take a pta test?
What is a pta test? I did go to the ENT and he said it's ETD and the only thing that will help is time.
Pta test a Pure tone audiometry which rules out any damage to nerves or the auditory nerve basically to check if you have hearing loss
Oh ok thanks for the info! I'll let my ENT know. I did take a hearing test and it came out normal. When I massage my eustachian tubes and my neck, the next day I have fluid in my ears and nose so I think they're draining.
