Hello fellow sufferers, I know many will probably ignore this as its not a quick fix solution like a miracle drug but if I can inspire at least one person to read it and know it helped to make smallest positive difference in their life i would be happy. I would really like to recommend this book I have picked up while trying to find my own answers to the highest anxiety, panic, depression, and all the fun symptoms that come with it my entire life. It's called 'Lost Connections' by JOHANN HARI and I would really like you to ignore the corny recommendations on the cover and give it a try. I feel like every human should read it even those who dont neccesarily suffer from any anxiety issues, but it will definetely benefit those of us who do. Especially if you're like me and have believed for a long time Prozac is the answer to 'your broken brain' but have always been wondering why it somehow doesnt quite work. It really goes into detail of what causes depression and anxiety (they go hand in hand and spoiler alert- it has nothing to do with low serotonin levels in the brain) and is all backed up by scientific studies. It all becomes so undeniably obvious once you read it and its truly eye opening. Like I said no quick fix, I personally still battle my demons everyday and I know that its a process, but now I feel like im not going into the battle empty handed. If anyone on here has read the book I would love to know your thoughts, or if you decide to give it a go please let me know your thoughts afterwards too.
Thank you so much for your book suggestion i will try on line for it and hopefully get some comfort from it, feeling li k e this is as you say a daily battle, a little kindness goes such a long way. wishing you good health and peace.
