This is the second time in 4 months that I have had this type of pain. The first time I thought maybe I pulled a muscle in my lower back. The pain is in my lower right back side and goes around to my lower right abdomen and down my groin. I can barely move or walk because the pain is so excruciating and unbearable. There's no blood in my urine. Not that I can see. However, the pain in my side and lower back increases when I urinate. Nothing I take is even touching the pain and it keeps getting worse. My boyfriend thinks it's just a back strain. However, It is a deep sharp pain. Could this be a kidney infection.
Also, some of the other symptoms I'm experiencing are : exsaustion, headaches, nausea, sometimes dizzyness and my heart beating fast (probably due to the pain). My temp has been 99.5. I've never felt pain like this before. I've had one kidney infection in the past. It was in 2008. I ended up in the hospital, but it was no where near this painful.
Your symptoms sound like a serious infection, which could be kidney but a bladder urethra infection, both can cause lower back pain tracking round to front.along with the exaustion and dizziness, and a t emp of over 99 is quite high, have you seen your gp, if not go in with a urine sample asap as it could get worse, if the gps wont fit you in asap after youve explained your symtpoms go in to a and e there can be infection if no blood seen, does your urine look strong an cloudy. hope you can see meds soon.
Thank you for replying. I have to wait until Thursday to see a doctor.

Not too long at least, if it gets worse you could always go into a and e, good luck
I have a doctors appointment on Thursday. I'm hoping they find out what this is. I'm in New Orleans and the medical treatment sucks out here. Plus, I have no insurance. I'm nervous that they're going to say everything is normal. Like so many people on here are saying.
