Cold and hot compression works for some.

I'm just worried about where this is leading now unable to work and I don't get sick pay
How are you?
Yep a tens machine (dam sausage fingers)
I picked my up from Lloyds pharmacy for around £15 it's brilliant.
I had surgery about a month ago but before that I had terrible back pain. Physio always relieved the pain after a couple of sessions.
What have the doctors diagnosed
You with?
Craig
They said its mechanical back pain and my mri was normal
I don't understand how I can be normal yet be in so much pain
What is your diagnosis
They said they wouldn't operate on me
I most cases, back and neck pain may be a symptom of many different cause including overuse, strenuous activity or heavy lifting. Degeneration of vertebrae, is often caused by stresses on the muscles and ligament that supports the spine. Facet joint injections usually have two goals: to help diagnose the cause and location of pain and also to provide pain relief. Hope you get to the root cause of pain and starts feeling better soon.
Backache is most common in the lower region (lumbago), although it can be felt anywhere along your spine, from your neck down to your hips. There are other causes also that affects back and neck pain. Maintain correct posture while sitting, standing and sleeping. Reduce emotional stress that may cause muscle tension. Join exercise classes – where you are taught specific exercises to strengthen your muscles. There are some therapy can also be helpful such as physiotherapy, chiropractic, osteopathy or acupuncture.
