Exhausted after surgery

Everything look good as my doctor stated. I will go back in 4 weeks. I am on my 3rd week of recovery of fibroid surgery.

I am back at FedEx working now. I am very exhausted working between the hours. I am trying to take a break in the between. I lift light package. I never been so exhausted like that before.

As for walking, I’m very active person. My body is not ready for running. So I had started that yet. I walked 3 miles at least 2 or 3 times a week. When i get to 2.5 miles, mane I am tired. I wanted to give up but I don’t want to force myself. Have you ever experience exhausted when you try to complete your miles or goals that you have in mind?

If you had a myomectomy i.e. open surgery to remove fibroids, then you should ideally be off for 6 weeks before going back to work as its classified as major surgery and you do need lots of rest as part of the recovery. I had one in 2016 and did feel exhausted for the first 3 weeks and gradually started getting back my fitness by doing walking and light  gym exercises. Swimming is useful once you get your fitness back as it strengthens the womb, was recommended by my consultant. Best of luck with your recovery and don't overdo things,

Yes, a lot of people told me that I really need to get a lot of rest. I don't think I did during recovery. I am having a back pain from time to time. I am hoping that I will go away soon.

Swimming, I can't even swim. lol.. sad, sadright?  I am starting to get better at jogging. I only ran 3 miles but I usually ran 5 miles a day. I will try 4 miles this weekend.
