Has anyone tried "Straw breathing". Not the normal size straw but a coffee stir straw. All these books say to do it for 2 minutes while pinching your nose. I swear I can only last 40 seconds. Its extremely scary and hard.

What is this supposed to do?
It is part ofCognitive behavioral therapy exposing yourself to fears. Once you expose yourself many times it becomes less fearful hence it it’s no longer a trigger.
