This thing popped up a few weeks ago and it's painful to wipe. Have been to the doctor this morning and she prescribed suppositories (?), as Ive used unirhoid for few days I'm not so sure I can use it again. She did mention that if it doesn't disappear it will mean surgery. Has anyone had surgery for external piles (had this for internal) and how bad is it and what recovery time is needed.
