Anyone experienced Extrapyramidal Symptoms from some medications? I got horrible extrapyramidal symptoms from Fluphenazine ( Prolixin ) its antipsychotic but my doctor gave it to me for my depression and anxiety. This is how it started: my jaw, neck and tongue were literally off my control. My neck was twisting and moving in right side like my head wanted to do 360 degrees. It was horrible experience. I broke few of my teeth that day because i couldnt control movement of my jaw and tongue and neck and i couldnt even speak. In emergency they didnt know what the F*ck was happening with me. But after 5 hours of suffering finally my psychiatrist arrived and she suddenly knew what was happening with me. And then they gave me injection of Biperiden ( Akineton ) in my butt. And after 10 minutes i was fine. Im just wondering if anyone experienced something like this or something similar?Because that was a real nightmare.
