I have been dealing with anxiety for about a year and a half, I also have postural hypotension which I take propanorol for. I started having anxiety with lightheadedness and feeling like I can't breathe, I got on lexapro and a year and a half later I don't have problems with that but now I have all the sudden gotten extreme lightheadedness, dizziness, depersonalization, it literally feels like my body weighs nothing sometimes, and I get the sensation that I am swaying. I start a new school tomorrow and I'm freaking out because I feel these sensations ALL THE TIME. Please help me ![]()
Have you been back to your doctor about this. It sounds like your meds need to be changed, or the dosage changed. Make an appointment as soon as you can. Don't ignore this....a med change could be all that is needed.
My dosage needed to be tweeked twice to get the perfect result. You sound very brave and very knowledgable, Ambria. Use that courage and intelligence to get what you need, Sweetie.
Thank you so much! I didn't even think of that! they did lower my lexapro a few months ago so that could be the cause, I have a doctors appointment later this week, i will surely mention this.
Good for you, Ambria. Your doctor's job is to make you feel better. He works for you. Remember that when you need to push for what you need, Honey. Looking forward to hearing how it went.
Ask doc something like citolapram or something completely different. How much do you take? Does not sound right for you!!
