I am 34 years old and in one week I am going for open surgery for a cyst and ovary removal. I when I was a kid had day case surgery and remember screaming the place down but this is big surgery and o never stayed in hospital overnight. I can't explain how scared I am at present heading towards a big melt down. Had the pre op today and they even though o told them before that I am extremely scared and of the anesthoic and suffer from anxiety anyway did not give me the support I hoped. Please anyone help me xxx
