Hi all! I quit Olazapine 4 weeks ago and am experiencing extreme nausea 24/7. I am not sure how much longer I can take this. Anybody know about how much longer I have?
hi just wanted to say nausea is normal for this drug it’s caused by anxiety basically. olanzapine is a very powerful seditve to and basically I had to use phenagin also known as promethazine to sleep and calming me down also just happens to be an anti sickness med something doc’s don’t tell you about. available at present over the counter for hay feever hope this helps and don’t give up I have been of it 2 year’s now.

I do hope you slowly tapered off that nasty drug which never should be available/prescribed as it causes so many other health problems and is total hell to come off! I suffered extreme nausea along with so many other awful withdrawal symptons for a very long time
It really is very individual how yr body and mind will react but I suggest you go to a health food store or herbalist and see if they can suggest something natural to ease your nausea

hey, I was on this medication for about a year and it did wonders for my anxiety and sleep. when I stopped though I simply just stopped as advised by my psych, I was very wary as I knew I was probably in for a rough ride with withdrawals but I must say I was very lucky and didnt experience anything negative. I hope the nausea settles for you soon. what mg did you take? x
I was on 10mg,. I tried one every other day per my pcp. That didnt work so I went down to 5 mg per day then quit after a week.
