Eye floaters and others stuff please read!

About two weeks ago I started getting eye floaters which didnt go away... I went to my opthamologist he advised my eyes looked fine.  The other night i noticed when I am out and about in the night, if I look at headlights or a lamppost or anything  with a light in the dark , they all turn into these big circles with a weird design in them ( without my glasses) (with my glasses I just see a bit of a glare)... Mind you I am blind as a bat.  I cant see far at all, it all turns blurry. I just want to make sure this is OK. I mean he said my eyes were ok, I think this could be a part of my anxiety tricking me into thinking it is more then it is.. hopefully..

The attached photo is as close as I could find to what I see... except mine looks like it has a weird design in the whole circle...

Greetings and salutations, Desiree.

Firstly, I'm not a professional; I do believe I can grant you some peace at

at mind, however. When you say about "big circles" around street lights and

headlights, it sounds to me like "halos". They look like them too, in the picture

you've provided. About the "weird designs", do they look like stars? With

Spikes shooting out from the source? If so, I believe they're called "starbursts".

I can't tell how to get rid of them; most people just have to ignore them. As

for floaters, I have more than I can count. Honestly, they're a pain at first,

but you get used to them. They just sort of float around in your vision, they

don't hinder your vision in any way. In the last portion of your post, you

stated about anxiety, I am going to tell that I personally believe anxiety

is a huge issue when it comes to vision. (Digression alert) a while ago,

I had a problem: I was obsessing over my vision. Basically looking for something

to be wrong, and I had finally found it. So, needless to say, just try to stay relaxed,

you're not going to lose your vision. If something happens, see a doctor right

away. Have a good day!(night?). Cheers.

DeeNicole, if the floaters have gone away then I don't think you have anything to worry about. But obviously keep getting regular eye checks.
