hayfever! tablets, eyedrops, cold face cloth - unsuccessful - any suggestions ? everyday since march.
Have you actually sought advice from anyone for it? Pharmacist, Optometrist or GP?
Yes been to Dr twice and pharmacist once. Nothing they given has worked hense why I am on this for advice. Thanks.
Perhaps you should try hot compresses, rather than cold ones.
Perhaps you have dry eye syndrome and/or blepaharitis. Put a spot of mild handwash into some very hot water, as hot as you can tolerate without scalding yourself. Bathe your eyes, then place a flannel, soaked in the hot water, over your eyes until it cools, repeat a couple of times. Do the same morning and night. Get some lubricating eye drops and use when necessary or 3 or 4 times a day.
If that helps, then that is good, if it doesn't, it's back to the drawing board!
You might not think you have dry eyes but if you use a computer, smartphone, tablet, watch television, drive, these things all contribute to dry eyes. You blink less when doing these things.
Good luck.
Thanks - might try a hot compress and see if it reduces the swelling. Just its trail and error to hopefully find something. But everyones hayfever seems bad this summer.
The pollen count is very high.
There is always a steroid injection that might work.
