Has any one had incontinence procedure where they make a sling using your own tissue from lower abdomen or leg? And was it successful?

i did not have sling with my own tissue but wish I had. I had tvt sling with no success. I belong to a few different forums and everyone that I have seen post about it the sling with their own tissue sounds as if it's been really succesful. At least you won't have the worry of your body rejecting it. The only advice I'd give is have a doctor that has done many of these surgeries with success be the one to do it. Best of luck to you! My Consultant advised me against this type of operation as she said there has been reports of erosion of the mesh after this procedure. She explained that they use mesh and not tissue for the sling but operate on both legs instead of going in through the groin area for the main tvt operation.
