I have been having hot flashes for several months. Lately I have a weird sensation in my face and it seems to happen before a hot flash. A slight tingling sensation almost painful, but not quite. It's very strange and annoying. Skin feels sensitive.
I'm 54 and haven't had a period since March. Anyone have this??
Hi Nancy - Just out of curiosity, are you on any blood pressure medications? The reason why I ask is, I was plagued for roughly 4 years with a tingling in my face followed by flushing etc. Everytime I goggled my symptoms it came up with menopause & Rosasea as being the culprits. I did ultimately get diagnosed with Rosasea, but continued to suffer with it for 4 years, until I discovered a forum for people who had taken the same Blood Pressure RX's as me with the same symptoms. I do know that menopause & Rosasea can also cause it though. It's such a peculiar sensation. Hope you figure it out -
Hi I think I getting it now hot flash tingling in my forehead just before it comes on, my periods are coming to and end I feel cold when I'm not hot, just let it wash over me at times,I have been worst then this when I first started and as years went by symptoms came and go..we have to tell ourselves this is not for ever and it will end.
Hi Debra.... no, my blood pressure is fine. Not on anything except Sertraline, which I've been on for years. Was thinking about going off of it, but now that I'm in menopause, thinking I should just continue. lol
