This sounds strange but was wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem. When I lay on my left side, its like my heart sounds loud I can hear it in my ear.
Many of us can hear our heart beats, when every thing is very quiet.
One of the most disturbing i had was when I was in a recording booth for an advert voice over, could hear my breathing and heartbeat, the silence is so profound, rather put me off for a start as I had not done advert previously.
I feel my heartbeat more when lying on my left hand side & also I get more palpitations. Can't recall my heart failure nurse's explanation, but she reassured me this is very common & nothing to worry about. If you feel your heart is going faster than it should be, see your GP & get yourself a health check.
I noticed mine the other night while wearing some headphones. Made me pretty anxious.
