Fast heart rate?

Hey guys and girls! Curious if this is an anxiety symptom? Whenever I get off work (line cook) and I get home and lay down I notice every single time it will feel like my heart is racing

I will measure if an hour after sitting in bed and it will be at about 100-105 sometimes it dosnt go down for hours after relaxing as my usual resting heart rate is roughly 85

This only happens some nights when I work not every night but on days I don't work it never happens, it's like I have a couple tickets in the kitchen and my heart beats faster and never goes back down

I feel like I always feel but maybe work stresses me out without knowing it? Or possible Arrhthmia?

Thanks for the advice AGAIN haha,

Edit: this only happens night that I work not every night**

Hey, i myself have suffered from health anxiety and 100% yes a fast heart beat is a sign of anxiety i would find myself sitting there watching tv and my heart would be racing away and it would scare the hell out of me this lead me to go to the doctors about ten times and each time i thought it was something serious when in reality it was anxiety and its hard to believe that anxiety can make your heart race like that but it can and the more you think about it the more your heart rate goes up, i would constantly be checking my pulse, heart rate etc and it was roughly at 100bpm but i learned to stop checking and dont think about it as hard as it was its really helped me, i did request am ecg from my doctor just to give me an all round piece of mind and it came back "perfect" as the doctor said haha! But yes heart racing is definately a sign of anxiety so my advice would be stop checking your pulse etc and try to ignore it the more you do the more your heart rate will return to normal hope this helps

I have the same issues with being scared of heart issues. As long as it goes down, chances are you are ok.. And the fact it happens around a workday says most likely stress and anxiety.. Do you get nervous you won't get the food out in time or that They won't like it? If so that's probably your answer.. Even if you're excited to be home after a long day, that'll raise your hr.. My heartrate actually increases while I'm taking it because I'm so nervous about what it'll be. If it's concerning you, see your doctor and let him know so you can start some anxiety meds if he thinks you need them
