of fast hr ! to me looks very dangerous ive never had this! has anyone experience this? they gave me ativian in ER and my HR went down to 90! now that im home is around 70-80

yes absolutely it can. are you feeling stressed about anything?

ive always been a anxious person but with this coronavirus its like driving
me crazy! im on meds for GAD and panic attack disorder doc perscribed xanan as needded ! but ive never seen hr 150 in myself and i went imediatlly
in Er!
have you experience this high of heart rate

Hi my heart rate tends to reach 155bpm when i am really anxious so i guess its normal with anxiety even though i cant always convince myself it is i also suffer with alot of irregular heartbeats

its very scary ,i cant even ease now,im just waiting for another episode! have you checked with your doctor/cardiologist? are you on any meds? my cardiologist dont think i need further test and for all this is putting to anxiety but i doubt even with extensive heart tests ive had in the past

Anxiety and Fear. Fear is the driver. If you are worried about the fast heart rate, it will continue. Just relax and accept the feeling. Try not to react to it.

I went through the exact same thing. The more i worried and checked the higher the heart rate went up. You are doing this to yourself with worry and anxiety. Your heart is fine, once you get on top of your anxiety and worry things will go back to normal and when you do have another attack you will know its just your anxiety and worry and you should be able to start to lower the heart rate yourself by being calm etc.
Ive been in your shoes its not fun, my cardiologist said a lot of people go through periods like this.

thank you for reply ! did you get those high rocket reading from heart because of anxiety! im very worried its like 85-90
when i rest and as soon i move strats jumping 120 or higher im very scared to do anything that my heart will stop

yes ive had it and still do. if i move in bed even it goes up. its just anxiety nothing else. maybe you need more permanent meds for the gad like ssri?

im on 75 ml zolof and xanan as nedeed but those days its like out of control! as soon as i move jumps to 120-130! or higher! do you get those kinds of readings? thank you for replying

hi aria i dont check tbh because it makes me more anxious but i know myself when its abnormally high. try take a day off from thinking about it and let it be x

are you worried about heart disease or corona what is it your worrying that it could be

i was very focused and worried about heart disease and smth being wrong with
my heart but doctors wasnt able to figure it out! ive seen 5 cardiologist in the past four years, they pretty much dont find anything wrong and put it on the anxiety but im not sure ! and with the virus now everything is much harder for me

honestly the issue is in our minds not bodies. thats health anxiety for you. im always convinced my bloods are wrong when they are fine, you would definately had known if you had HD. try and give yourself a break for a couple of hours and say im not going to think about it.

thank you so much , hopefully will get thru this! but with all the coronavirus now its affecting more our lifes

i feel exactly same doesnt take much to trigger my heartbeat can easily hit 150 sometimes and always over 100 when i do things currently these last two weeks been suffering with bad palpitations skipping beat wich terrifies me i take propananol what doesnt seem to do anything and im on sertraline for my anxiety but still very anxious everyday its nice to find a community where im not alone its taking over my life is there anything you guys would recommened for my anxiety i can ask for at doctors? im currently having councelling but doesnt seem to be helping at the moment any advise would be much appreciated:)

When my anxiety was at its worse my heart rate was always over 100 at rest. I bought a heart monitor because I was so worried about it. After several months of feeling calmer my heart rate at rest is now 73.

It can be 10000% related to stress & anxiety. Your body is in a constant state of hyper arousal and always expecting a fight or flight situation

120 is not particularly fast. A brisk walk can usually elevate your pulse at 120-130. Imagine what all this sudden surge of adrenaline running through your veins can do!

usually as soon as i start moving jumps to 110 or more ! its a very scary checking it all the time in my watch ! but when it reach 150 i was terryfied ,just went to Er ,but ekg and blood work were normal! now im here just waiting for another episode

I can feel for you. I suffer from health anxiety which has led to terrible panic attacks. I usually have them at night. Imagine waking up at 4.00 am and your hearts beating at 180. I’ve been to 5 cardiologists so far they can’t find anything wrong structure wise. It’s anxiety I know it is because when I’m calm my heart rate us always under 100 bpm. These panic attacks in combination with the quarantine have made me homebound. Immobility can definitely decondition your heart rate. I too get severe palpitations when I stretch or stand up after prolonged sitting. It’s really scary but other than that nothing serious has ever happened to me. So it’s a mind game. It’s just your brain pulling a trick. The more you’re aware of your heart rate the more you’re going to feel it. It’s a vicious circle. It’s called confirmation bias. Try some hypnosis. I bought a hypnotherapy session from amazon and I’m on day 14th. Psychology claims that it takes about 60 days for your subconscious mind to start changing.
Don’t worry, it’s most likely something entirely benign and your anxious brain is magnifying it.
