Im very anxious this week i felt chest pain that passed,then i found hearth atack symptoms on internet.From that day my anxiety atack started,i went to doctor they measured blood pressure,pulse,Ekg she asked me if i exercises i said i was going to the gym and she said everything was fine.But im still afraid and i have those anxiety symptoms like chest pressure and everything ,how do i deal with this im only 17 years old not even smoking or drinking ...And this is not the first time im afraid of disease every time i read about any disease i think i have it and i get all the symtoms..
It’s called hypochondria, many of us anxiety sufferers deal with it. Very common but if you’ve been looked at by a doctor with no evidence of anything serious then it’s probably safe to assume that it’s anxiety you’re feeling.

what is happening is by reading symptoms online, you are telling your brain that you are having a heart attack. So your brain creates the symptoms, even though you are fine. You are letting Fear and negative thoughts take over
Do NOT read symptoms online. They don’t pertain to your specific situation. They are very general. For example, you are worried about chest pain and heart attack, But, chest pain can be caused by other things too. Like.......
Anxiety, indigestion, back issues, hiatal hernia, stress, gallbladder issues, etc
Your chest pain is most likely due to Anxiety. Your heart is fine.
The more you worry, the more symptoms you will get! Because your brain will create more symptoms AND send out adrenaline which speeds up the heart rate and causes other symptoms.
ANY SYMPTOMS CAUSED BY ANXIETY CANNOT HURT YOU!!
So, the key is to calm down the brain to eliminate symptoms.
THE SYMPTOMS ARE NOT THE PROBLEM. The problem is unmanaged anxiety which causes symptoms!
Your brain will do what you tell it to do, so you are choosing to feed it negative thoughts and out comes symptoms.
You don’t have to let fear control you.
I listen to meditations for anxiety and fear on you tube. They totally calm down my mind and body and symptoms. Symptoms diminish greatly or go away.
Many to choose from. Use earbuds and lay down to listen. I do this every night when laying down to sleep. You need to reverse your way of thinking.
One meditation called Clearing Subconscious Negativity, another called Detachment from Overthinking.
One for proper breathing during anxiety called Mindfulness breathing Guided meditation 10 minutes. It’s very important to listen to when anxious.
When you get a negative thought, Dont try to fight it off. Allow it to be there for a few seconds. Just observe it in a calm manner. Then imagine it floating off and dissolving. Do this every time you get one.
Example is. “ Oh, I think I have a bad heart “.
CALMLY OBSERVE THE THOUGHT . IT IS SEPARATE FROM YOU, NOT A PART OF YOU. NOT BASED ON FACT.
LET IT PASS ON BY
WATCH IT DISSOLVE IN THE AIR
Remember, your tests are fine.
