So I had this surgery for my pilonidal cyst back in Jan of 2017 and I had spinal anesthesia for that surgery. After the recovery I started getting headaches and got dizzy sometimes. Then later I began to get dizzy whenever I washed my hair, what I mean is I washed my hair, dried it and then later when I just go on about my day I sometimes get dizzy .It happened for a couple of months but later it stopped but recently two days ago I started feeling the same way I didn’t really feel spinning but felt kinda light headed and my ear is blocked along with Tightness in my jaw and throat.i feel kinda hard to speak but it’s just because I think I can’t.Every minute I keep thinking something might happen to me and am scared to death.Ive been to doctors and they said it’s all my stress.I do have bad health anxiety and get really worried.I have neck pain too but that too is cuz of my posture.I just wanna know do I present symptoms of brain tumor or am I just too scared and getting my anxiety even worse?
I have
-tightness in my jaw and blocked ear in left side
-occasional light headedness
-sometimes shooting pain and weakness in all my limbs cuz of being scared
And also I stated that I had these dizziness since last year so I wanna know if someone had brain tumor, would their condition be worse by now ?
And also I haven’t had MRI but I’ve had cervicel spine X ray Chest X Ray blood tests . Thank you for whoever replies. It would mean a lot to me
Hi, did the doctor check your blocked ear? It seems that this has been happening since your surgery, have they taken that into account? I would push to ensure the surgery has not caused something that could be treated. I’m no doctor of course though! Other than that I don’t think you have a brain tumour, these are known symptoms of anxiety and you should talk to your doctor about a plan of action to combat this. Also read other posts and see just how many people think they have a brain tumour, it’s a common fear.
Have they got the results back
I forgot to mention my blocked ear is only since two days and my results for all the tests were normal nothing abnormal.I hope this is just my anxiety and nothing scary
And my ear isn’t technically blocked it’s just the left side of my face including my ear and jaw feel tight and sometimes my whole jaw feels tight along with my throat.i guess this too is due to anxiety ?
Cuz even my doctor has told me at the end Don’t worry you are alright.Even my parents scold me and say that I worry extensively for things I’m not even sure about. Is this my anxiety ?
And does anxiety make you feel the symptoms when you read about cuz I definitely did search up a lot of scary stuff and began to feel this way.I hate myself for doing this.
Dr Google is not your friend! We always read through causes for our symptoms and rather than going for the common everyday causes we go for the worst case scenario. I myself have to resist the temptation to Google symptoms as I’ve suffered with health anxiety myself. Have you tried seeing a chiropractor? If you do be sure to mention your surgery before having any treatment.
No I haven’t seen a chiropractor but I’ll soon try.Thank you for your words! So I don’t have anything to worry about do I ?I just want some reassurance from someone
I think what you need to do is trust the professionals and ask your doctor about treatment for your health anxiety. This should get you on the road to recovery. You will be ok 👍
