Fear of Fainting please help!!

Hi everyone! I have a severe fear of fainting! I have never fainted but did experience tunnel vision once when having blood drawn. It effects my everyday life! Please tell me that if I've never passed out that the chances of it happening Are very slim! I avoid drs, and anything associated with passing out. I'm scared every time something occurs that raises my panic. Please please help!!

Hi it's a phobia, like fear of being sick or seeing people being sick for example. It will cause anxiety. Lots of people have phobias many very odd to a so called ' normal ' person. some people think phobias are brought on by a bad experience in past that you may not even remember, but it's still in your subconscious. Some people say it's just an irrational fear that just starts out of blue . Keep posting , more people out here can help I'm sure. Good luck❤️

Hi it is nearly impossible to faint when panicking as your blood pressure rises and fainting is generally caused by low blood pressure.Dizziness and blurred vision is all due to anxiety especially over breathing and tension in your neck muscles. I hope this helps to reassure you.

Sorry forgot to add eat regularly and often to keep your blood sugar levels normal.Keep going you can get through this.

Thank you so much! I run from the situations which cause panic and just want to be "normal".

Please don't isolate yourself it is the worst thing you can do.Try to face your fears not all at once.Set yourself small tasks. As your confidence grows your fears will decrease. It is far from easy but you can do it.You are stronger than you think.Learn relaxation techniques and mindfulness you will get them all on YouTube. Also keep a journal of your achievements.Just take it a day at a time.

Great advice from Marlene. Keep talking it helps. Always somebody out here to help❤️
